Lt. Col. Daniel J. Myers Honored by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Military Service
Lt. Col. Daniel J. Myers enjoyed a 20-year career in the service of his country
STOCKBRIDGE, GA, June 17, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lt. Col. Daniel J. Myers, United States Army (Retired), has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in military service.
Looking back on his time in the service, Lt. Col. Daniel J. Myers fondly recalls successfully commanding a 179-person company for more than two years. He spent a total of 20 years in the Army, where he was instrumental in helping to plan and implement electronics, communications, and information technology projects and programs. Inspired by his father, who also served in the military, Lt. Col. Daniel J. Myers attributes his success to hard work and teamwork. He looks forward to becoming a full-time program manager.
Lt. Col. Myers completed resident postgraduate coursework at the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College in addition to receiving a bachelor of science from Austin Peay State University in 1979. He maintains membership with the Association of the United States Army, the Military Officers Association of America, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the National Rifle Association. He is also a trophy life member of the North American Fishing Club who also enjoys golfing and gardening. He previously served as a volunteer for two years with North Brevard Charities in Florida.
