Shawn is the inventor and patent holder of the Kayak Kaboose, which is a water-tight, towable kayak storage solution. During his collegiate career, Shawn studied Steam Fitting and Gas Fitting at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. He served as a Naval Weapons Technician for 5 years with the Royal Canadian Navy. Mr. Whitney is involved with the Northwestern Ontario Innovation Centre.
