Bunk Campers have recently agreed to support Philip Field in Race Around Ireland, Europe's toughest non-stop 2,100km cycle challenge to raise money for Help for Heroes to be held this September.

BELFAST, IRELAND, July 30, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Bunk Campers have recently agreed to support Philip Field in Race Around Ireland, Europe's toughest non-stop 2,100km cycle challenge to raise money for Help for Heroes to be held this September.

Philip Field from Team Exiles Cycling Team based in Verbier, Switzerland will be competing as a solo entrant in the World Cup Ultra Marathon series event. He will be entering completely unchartered territory with riders on average cycling for 18-20 hours a day (450 Km's) to complete the course in the tight 132 hour time limit. Philip will be raising money for 'Help for Heroes' in support of the wounded soldiers affected by the tolls of war.

Bunk Campers are providing their 6 berth motorhome (Grande) to accommodate Philip and his crew for the duration of the race around the island. The motorhome will act as the team hub where the crew will be able to use the shower and wash facilities to freshen up, the cooking facilities to prepare food for themselves and Philip, and also use the on board beds to get some rest. The ability to be able to cook fresh nutritional food and get some sleep will help to lessen Philip's stress and increase his chances of success.
