All-Pro Science Signs First Olympic Athlete and Professional Softball Player to Tony Gonzalez's Team APS.
All-Pro Science signs on Caitlin Lowe to be their big female face to its elite team of athlete endorsers: Team APS.
IRVINE, CA, June 09, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- All-Pro Science, Inc. (APS) and President Tony Gonzalez announced that professional and Olympic softball player, Caitlin Lowe, has joined TEAM APS as one of its athlete endorsers. Lowe will be added to the elite TEAM APS roster which currently has NFL talent such as Warren Moon, Will Shields, and Devin McCourty and features Colorado Rockies All-Star shortstop Troy Tulowitzki and MLS Goalie Zach Thornton.
Caitlin Lowe grew up playing competitive softball in her hometown Tustin, California, where she was a four year All-American at Foothill High School and received the Orange County Player of the Year award. This speedy outfielder was then recruited to play for the top softball school in the nation, Arizona University. The two time All American led her team to back to back NCAA championships during her junior and senior seasons, and was named to the All-Women's College World Series Team in 2006 and 2007. Lowe was listed as a Top 10 USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year for three consecutive years and is one of just 12 players in Division I history to have accumulated over 300 hits, 200 runs and 100 stolen bases in her career. In 2007, Caitlin was awarded the prestigious Lowe's Senior CLASS Softball Award and in 2009, ESPN Rise named her to the All-Decade, All-America softball team.
Caitlin began her national career in 2004 as a member of the USA Schutt Elite Team competing in the Canada Cup and Champions Cups. In 2005, Lowe won silver medals in both the World Cup and Japan Cup playing with the United States National Team. She was one of the youngest members of the 2006 World Championship team and helped them win the World Cup in 2006 and 2007. She earned a gold medal at the 2007 Pan American games, during which she executed a perfect nine stolen bases in nine attempts. Lowe represented USA and brought home a silver medal in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing where she recorded the first ever inside the park home run in Olympic history. Currently, Lowe plays for National Pro Fastpitch's USSSA Pride in Kissimmee, Florida.
